  • JSW office, Mumbai
  • Tata Housing Project, Kolkata
  • TCS Hyderabad campus

His role in the Indian Green Building Movement

Ravi Sarangan supports environmental-friendly designs and sustainable development. He emphasizes that every structure should have a minimal impact on the environment. Ravi and his team had earlier handled a project for TCS in Thane, employing an innovative construction method. This helped them bag the second TCS project – the Green Field Campus in Hyderabad. Till date, the TCS campus in Hyderabad is their biggest green project ever. Challenges like large boulders, the hot-dry climate, and depression (this was later transformed into a lake) was well handled and overcome. The lake was the focal point in the design with the campus conceptualized around it. Local stone, material, and labour were used to the maximum in this project. Two phases of the project are already complete, while the third is well under way.
