Manas Vanwari

Manas Vanwari is part of the new breed of architects who are committed to making the Indian Green Building Movement a success. He has a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University, NewYork. Manas creates a heady mix juxtaposing traditional and modern architectural techniques to build unique spaces. He is widely known for his commercial Gigaplex project in Airoli, Mumbai.

Before becoming the Director at Vanwari Architects, Manas spent a few years at Charles Correa Associates in Mumbai where he honed his knowledge and skill in sustainable development.

His role in the Indian green building movement 

Manas is an active contributor and member of the Indian Green Building Movement. A vision that enables sustainable built-environment for all, and facilitates India to be one of the global leaders by 2025. With this at its core, the movement has gathered immense traction over the years. Manas and other members are actively involved making sustainable development a reality in India.

His pet project

The ultra modern commercial complex; Gigaplex at Airoli, Mumbai is a signature project that Manas has been a part of along with the K. Raheja Group. The project is 4.8million sq ft in development, with companies such as iGate, Axis Bank, Capgemini occupying premium real estate. This project has been in the media spotlight for its unique design and size.
