The new Paryavaran Bhavan is an inspirational green building. Its design has traditional values like Courtyard architecture, enhanced day lighting and ventilation through efficient glazing / wall-window ratio.

Rainwater harvesting, waste water treatment and reuse as well as efficient landscaping are notable features. It is a 100% solar-powered building connected to a grid under the solar policy. It has an online solar track system and PPP agreement between the government and the operator. But the most attractive part of the house is the Green Library and Green Handbook designed in simple language for occupants and visitors.
