Hiten Sethi

Hiten Sethi is a visionary in the field of design, whose creativity and iconic designs serve as exemplary models for modern architecture. In his long professional career, he has been associated with a number of successful land development, commercial, residential and institutional projects. Under his able leadership, his firm, Hiten Sethi Architects (HSA), has completed space planning and execution for over 4.5 million sq. ft. of space, valued at Rs. 1,200 crores, as well as interior design for over 2 lac sq. ft. of space, valued at more than Rs. 100 crores. An associate member of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Hiten Sethi was also the Former Chairman of Navi Mumbai Chapter of IIA, and an associate member of Practicing Engineers, Architects, and Town Planners Association (PEATA).

His role in the Indian Green Building Movement

Hiten Sethi believes that architecture should complement modern day living. His team designs every structure around this concept. They consider native culture, terrain, and climate while planning and developing their projects. Every building or campus built by HSA reflects sustainability, distinctiveness and practicality. All the structures abide by green principles and cause minimal harm to the environment. 

His pet projects

One of Hiten Sethi’s most famous structures is the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Headquarters in Belapur, which made it to the Limca Book of Records as India’s first green government building. 

HSA has designed several other signature projects, including Wonder Park, Navi Mumbai; the NISM campus, Patalganga; National Cancer Institute, Nagpur; and NMSEZ IT Park, Navi Mumbai.
